New painting by Sherry, "Dinner by Candlelight"

I posted another new painting from Sherry, titled "Dinner by Candlelight", on Sherry's Collected Watercolors.

I also removed all comments from each painting, with the exception of title, dimensions, paper used and year painted. It seemed more fitting to let each painting speak for itself.

New painting, "Roses"

I posted a new painting, titled "Roses", on Stephen's Collected Watercolors.

I also removed all comments from each painting, with the exception of title, dimensions, paper used and year painted. It seemed more fitting to let each painting speak for itself.

New page with all of Sherry's watercolors

Using the same approach I used for the collection of my paintings, I made a second collection, this time of my wife's watercolors. Here's the link: Sherry's Collected Watercolors On a fairly regular basis, as she finishes more paintings, I...

New page with all my watercolors

Using JAlbum 6.1, an excellent and free photo album generator for the web, I put together a collection of my watercolors. In the future, rather than haphazardly adding new pages to my main site, I'll simply add them to the...

Rachel's first watercolor since 3rd grade

My daughter, Rachel, is taking the same watercolor class as us (taught by Kat O'Connor at the Worcester Art Museum, Worcester, MA), and decided to paint something beforehand just to get a sense for her current level of skill. In...

Portrait of Jerimiah

After finishing my summer watercolor assignment, I decided to try the almost impossible, which was a watercolor portrait of my 6 month old grandson, Jerimiah. I say "almost impossible" for several reasons. First, I haven't painted a portrait of anyone...

Sherry and I attended an art workshop at the Acadia Workshop Center in Southwest Harbor, Maine, from July 31, 2005 to August 7, 2005. The subject was colored pencil, a medium I hadn't taken seriously until quite recently. The...

This past spring, Sherry and I finally got around to doing something of value with our shared interest in art, which was to attend a watercolor class at the Worcester Art Museum in Worcester, MA. It marked the first time...

2005 Mazda Mazdaspeed Miata

After a year and a half of wishing I'd kept my 2001 Miata, I finally caved in, sold my RX-8, cut my hair, joined the Mass Miata Club again, and bought another Miata, this time a red 2005 Mazdaspeed. Since...
